Berwick Lighthouse Bone China Cup is from a painting by Emily Ward a local North East artist from Newcastle. This original painting has been printed and hand pressed onto the cup locally in Emily's studio.
Emily's artwork of the striking red and white striped lighthouse shows it towering under a beautiful pink glimmering sky. Hints of lilac and pink can be seen rippling through the North Sea on this bone china cup.
Sea spray splashes up from the River Tweed over the stone pier where the puddles glisten with yellows and purples from the sun.

Berwick Lighthouse
Berwick Lighthouse
stands at the end of the stone pier in the historical town of Berwick on Tweed in Northumberland.
The foundation stone of the lighthouse was laid on 15th February 1826. The lighthouse was completed later that year from a design by Joseph Nelson who was also responsible for lights on Inner Farne and Longstone lighthouses.
The red and white lighthouse and pier was recorded as a Grade II listed building in 1971.
