Another Place coaster by artist Emily Ward has been hand pressed locally onto a FSC rated hardbacked coaster. The coaster has been produced from original art by Emily.
Emily’s art show’s a solitary figure standing before a vast sunrise on this art coaster of Another Place. The impressive cast iron figure stands in the sand facing the radiant sun.
The sky is dominated by the warm tones of fiery oranges, reds and yellows which radiate outwards from the glowing white sun.
Earthy tones of green, brown and purple cover the sand and the shallow waves that gently roll towards the impressive statues.

Another Place
Another Place by Antony Gormley was installed on Crosby Beach, near Liverpool in 2007. 100 cast iron sculptures stretch out across 3 km of beach. They have become a beloved part of the landscape.
Another Place
was intended to be a touring exhibition but due to strong public response to the art installation it became permanent.
The figures interact with the environment and sometimes seem to be standing in solitude against the sand and at times submerged in water and cloaked in seaweed.
