This tranquil scene of the River Ouesburn has now been transferred onto a wide range of affordable art prints and gifts. Emily's art print, shows the River Ouseburn flowing under one of the quaint stone bridges in Jesmond Vale.
A relaxing gentle purple haze over the water leads up the waterfall.
Delicate little purple flowers grow on either side of the bridge. Luscious green shrubs surrounding this delightful little bridge show off the varied woodland nestled in Jesmond Vale.

Jesmond Dene
Jesmond Dene is a narrow wooded valley and is one of the most popular parks in Newcastle Upon Tyne. It follows the River Ouseburn between South Gosforth, Heaton and Jesmond.
Enjoy the tranquillity and peacefulness of the dene whilst using the many paths and bridges. The dene is home to many woodland birds, many exotic trees and shrubs, wildlife and flowers.
Lord Armstrong and his wife first laid out plans for the wooded park to be known as Jesmond Dene during the 1860's. The original design was intended to reflect a rural setting featuring woodland, waterfalls, crags and pools.
Lord Armstrong donated the park to the people of Newcastle in 1883 and it opened the following year.
